training log 06-08
Ha! You thought I got lazy again and stopped running? No. I didn’t. I just been lazy about blogging this shit. However, I will say that the path next to my house is great for kicking up running. It has ups and downs and still covers a 4 mi distance. A moderator on a forum I post on gave me a great idea. I want to train to run a 5K. I may not actually do it but it will make a chance to run for longer amount of time. I still have to walk/run but I got better posture now. Stretching is really coming in handy as well as the core/strength training. In a month or so, I want to change up the workout to Plyometrics and running.
I’m condensing this post because the stats are the same as the previous entry. My roommate wants to run with me more and more. That makes me so excited. Too bad our friend thinks we’re losers for doing it. He just doesn’t know what he’s missing out on in the early morning runs. Much, much more peaceful than I expected and now Im not afraid (and too lazy) to wake up early and get started on the day. I may not have a job now but it may come in handy later.
Specs from previous workouts:
4.11 mi., walking and running intervals, more running this time. Went off into Highland route: has more difficulties to overcome. Better for training.
Adding core and strength in middle of workout this week.
Going to post a running ad soon…
