training log 05
I think I lost my lazy somewhere around Freedom and Highland. It wore me down. Hard. I had my roommate next to me keeping pace and pushing to go further. I showed him the new route I travelled yesterday and he was down for the cause. We travel and ran out of air quite often. Ah hell. We’re doing it again tomorrow. I gotta stretch my calves for the rest of the day since those are the first things to lock up on me. Not to mention my knees thereafter. I need to work on those, too.
Specs are the same as yesterday:
4.11 mi., walking and running intervals, more running this time. Went off into yesterday’s route: has more difficulties to overcome. Better for training.
No more Coca-Cola (my boyf is proud of that). Only juice and water. Chicken, lean beef and omega-3 fish. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains. Cheeses! Dark Chocolates! Nut Harvest Trail Mix! Oh my!
Found a great place to stretch before lift off. Danny returns with me tomorrow morning. Getting close to running for 4 minutes without becoming too tired or out of breath.
Yes! Progress! But in dire need of shoes with better cushioning.
